国際ロータリーの委員会構成

　国際ロータリーの委員会は、RI細則の規定に基づいて、コミュニケーション、定款細則、国際大会、地区編成、財務委員会を常任委員会として設置し、それ以外の委員会はRI理事会が必要に応じて設置することになっています。
　常任委員会は数名の委員が継続性を考慮して2−3年の任期で任命されますが、その他の委員会は単年度の期間で任命されることが多いようです。なお、RI会長の重点目標の達成のために設置されるタスク・フォースは、正副委員長の他に、エリアおよびゾーンから1−2名のコーディネーターが指名されます。

クラブの委員会構成は、推奨クラブ細則によって、常任委員会として、クラブ奉仕、職業奉仕、社会奉仕、国際奉仕委員会の四大奉仕委員会を設置することが推奨されていますが、RIにはこれらの委員会が設置されておらず、特定の役割や奉仕活動を具体的に実践する委員会で構成されていることが特徴的です。
